When is a Food Truck not a Food Truck? When it’s Southern Crust Catering
Southern Crust Catering Co. was founded by the Lewis Family in 2016, long known for their classic entrepreneurial history and also as longtime residents of Chastain Park, just on the outside of Buckhead Atlanta.
Southern Crust Catering was born when Bob then acquired the 1953 Chevy 3100 series truck from a field in Tennessee and undertook the restoration process in the summer of 2016 with the passionate support from his production director, Collis Carkhum.
So, here we are in 2018 with our beautiful vintage catering truck ‘Belle’, and an outstanding and super friendly staff of chefs and passionate staff who prepare our award-winning selection of signature Neapolitan pizza’s, supported by a delicious menu of apps, salads, sides and desserts. Southern Crust brings more than a traditional catering offering and can’t be classified as a Food Truck per say. As Bob would say, “we’re part show and our relaxed, but stylish atmosphere, fits beautifully into everything from weddings and rehearsal dinners, to birthday parties and mitzvah events all the way across to hosting corporate breakfast and luncheons, where we treat company employees to some of the best Neapolitan Pizza and food on the Southeast – with a splash of style that adds to any affair”.
